The anti-clogging rollers help eliminate the build-up of material, which is particularly prevalent in the center of the belt. The spaced rubber rings of the anti-clogging rollers make a major contribution to eliminating the encrusted deposits that appear under certain conditions on the surface of the belt to prevent this phenomenon. The anti-clogging rollers between the two rows of pehd rollers are fitted with spiked rings to prevent clogging, while the outer spiked rollers help guide the product to the edges. The central parts of the rollers are grouped together to allow the product to pass through, while preventing small particles from blocking the system.

Anti-clogging roller function

Anti-clogging rollers are designed for intensive use on conveyors in a variety of industries, and meet the most demanding requirements. The rollers have “V”-shaped supports whose length can be adapted to conveyor specifications. A configuration with flat rubber rings is possible according to specific industry requirements.
Anti-clogging rollers are used on belt conveyors in very high-capacity plants. They feature flat rings grouped and positioned at the ends of the roller and spiked rings in the central part. Their design makes them easy to assemble and dismantle on site. The rings are designed with more tips of reduced height, thus improving the distribution of the pressure applied to the material to be conveyed.

The pehd ROLLDRUM anti-clogging roller is fitted with steel tubes from 3 to 6.3 mm thick. Depending on roller size, it can be fitted with ball bearings from 6204 C3 to 6310 C3. Bushings are available in diameters ranging from 108 mm to 245 mm. The rubber has a hardness of 65 Sh and is pressed onto the steel tube casing. The faces are welded to the flat roller shell.
